Work Experience

Nov 2025 — Present

Marketing Coordinator, Specialized Construction Services

I manage the company’s marketing presence across digital platforms, brand materials, and industry events. I oversee social media strategy and website management, create marketing collateral and visual media, and develop content that highlights company projects and operational capabilities. My work involves close collaboration with operations teams to gather field insights, photos, and video that translate technical work into clear marketing messaging. I also coordinate trade show planning and logistics, manage branded promotional materials, research industry sponsorship opportunities, and support workforce development initiatives through outreach to trade schools and internship program coordination. Together, these efforts help strengthen brand visibility, maintain consistent messaging, and support business development across multiple service areas.

San Antonio, TX

SCS Fabrication & Welding Billboard: Designed and developed fabrication and welding-focused billboard concepts for Specialized Construction Services to support brand visibility across eight targeted industrial markets, including Houston/Baytown, San Antonio, Dallas, Corpus Christi (including surrounding areas such as Rockport), Brownsville/Boca Chica, Oklahoma City, El Paso, and Lake Charles. With no existing outdoor advertising framework in place, I identified the need for clear, high-impact messaging tailored specifically to contractor, plant, and field-facing audiences in each location.

SCS Technical Services Flyers/Line Cards: Developed a complete set of operations-specific flyers and line cards for Specialized Construction Services to clearly communicate the company’s capabilities across six core operations units. Since no standardized materials previously existed, I researched each division’s services, collaborated with operations managers to gather accurate technical details, and translated that information into concise, visually consistent marketing pieces. I designed and formatted the flyers to align with the company’s branding, ensuring each document clearly outlined service capabilities while maintaining a unified look for external distribution. These materials are now used by operations managers and business development personnel for client outreach, trade shows, and recruitment to quickly communicate SCS’s technical offerings.

SCS Business Cards: Redesigned the company’s business cards by refining the existing design, updating outdated and inconsistent titles, and standardizing employee contact information. Revamped the layout to better reflect the company’s branding by applying updated colors, typography, and visual hierarchy. Added the company tagline and integrated a QR code linking to the company’s online presence and social media platforms.

SCS Main Overview Flyer: Designed and produced the company’s primary fold-out capabilities flyer from the ground up to showcase all operations units in a single, comprehensive piece. Sourced a specialty printer capable of producing the oversized format and worked directly with vendors to ensure the material could be printed on 40-inch paper. Planned and measured the entire layout manually, mapping fold locations and panel spacing to ensure the final piece folded correctly and remained readable in both folded and fully expanded formats. Developed the visual structure, organized technical content from each operations unit, and applied consistent branding, typography, and imagery to create a high-impact marketing piece used for client meetings, business development, and trade shows.

SCS Tradeshows: Planned and executed the company’s participation in industry trade shows by managing all marketing and logistical preparations. Coordinated booth materials including banners, flyers, promotional items, and digital displays while ensuring all branding and messaging aligned with company capabilities. Handled vendor communication, shipping arrangements, and delivery timelines for booth equipment and marketing materials. Organized and prepared printed collateral, booth displays, and promotional items so operations and leadership teams had the resources needed to effectively represent the company, engage with potential clients, and promote SCS services during events.

SCS Video: Produced a promotional video highlighting the company’s six core operations units to provide a clear visual overview of SCS capabilities. Planned the structure and messaging to ensure each division was represented with concise, relevant information. Gathered project photos, video footage, and operational details from internal teams, then edited and assembled the material into a cohesive video aligned with the company’s branding and visual style. The final video is used across digital platforms, presentations, and trade shows to quickly communicate the full scope of SCS services.

SCS Website (Interactive): Maintained and updated the company website by refreshing project photos, updating service information, and editing employee profiles to ensure content remained accurate and current. Implemented front-end updates using WordPress and basic CSS to improve page layout, visual presentation, and overall consistency with company branding. Regularly reviewed and revised site content to reflect new projects, updated capabilities, and organizational changes.

Social Media Management: Manage the company’s LinkedIn and Facebook accounts by developing and publishing content that highlights projects, company capabilities, and employee updates. Create captions, graphics, and visual content aligned with the company’s branding while coordinating with operations teams to gather photos and project information. Monitor engagement and maintain a consistent posting schedule to strengthen the company’s online presence and support marketing, recruiting, and business development efforts. Also completed the verification of the company’s LinkedIn page to establish the organization’s official presence and improve credibility with clients, partners, and potential recruits.
